Hope Forest (2006-2012)

Hope forest was my peaceful country home for 6 years, and although I was busy with Photographic work and had little time to paint, it was a place for quiet contemplation and a deepening of thought. After the lightness and fun of Almond Hill, a more contemplative feeling arrives with a deeper self exploration. The figures are usually silently observing, or in a state of worship. In essence, it was a time of meditation.
